Hi Everyone!
The book for AUGUST is A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith. Book club is supposed to be August 25th at 7:30. Does anyone want to have it in their home?
Another thought is we could all go that evening to see The Help together. We read The Help awhile back and everyone seemed to love it. I really want to see the movie and have not started this months book yet. If everyone wants to go see The Help instead and maybe push back this book a month I am totally up for that. Just let me know in the comments? If not and I don't hear from anyone I will just assume we are having book club on the 25th as normal. I really want to read this months book as I have heard it is fantastic. We just need a location, author bio, and questions. Maybe this month we will actually discuss the book? ;)
Please give me feedback ASAP! I'd love to hear what your thoughts are on going to see the movie. We can also do it another night if that is better for everyone. My vote is to watch The Help, but then we won't get much visit time in :(
The movie is excellent! I totally recommend it. I don't know if I'd go again, but I think you all should.
