Hi Everyone!
Book Club for May was kind of sparse. We only had three people attend and none of us had read the book. So, I am making the executive decision to re-visit those books for the month of June! I have changed the book schedule on the side bar and just moved June's selection to July. Many of you who couldn't make it had mentioned you really wanted to read one of the two books we had selected. Here is your chance to read them if you still want!
The two books we were supposed to discuss were The Jungle by Upton Sinclair OR The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan. You can choose only one of those books. If neither interest you Elly had suggested watching Food Inc. on Netflix as it has the same subject matter.
This should make for a very interesting discussion. As always, everyone is welcome even if they haven't read the book. We just love to have you all there! Would anyone like to volunteer to do discussion questions? Author Bio?
Book club is schedule for June 23rd at 7:30 P.M. The location is to be determined. We were thinking of just keeping it at YumBeri throughout the summer to make it easy but Sarah pointed out that it may get pretty hot outside. She suggested we think about Gelato Spot since there is a lot of indoor seating. Is everyone okay with this? I think it is a great idea and takes the pressure off of everyone regarding hosting. We can resume doing it in each others homes at the end of the summer.
Please leave a comment and let me know what you think. I will post closer to the time updating on details for the location.
Happy Reading Everyone!

Yum-Beri in May!
This month, we will be discussing our TWO book selections on the cozy couches of Yum-Beri! We will be meeting:
Thursday, May 26 at 7:30 p.m.
We will be discussing:
The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan and The Jungle by Upton Sinclair.
You can read one or both. Even if you choose to read neither, the frozen yogurt will still be delicious and we'd love to see you all there!
P.S. I won't have time to read the books, but I plan on watching Food, Inc. which has similar subject matter and is available to watch instantly on Netflix.
